Free Materials and Tests for Better Grades

Whether we are teachers trying to help our students or  parents helping our children do well in schools, we need to find ways of improving them after identifying the specific type of help they need. Here are some freebies to help us achieve our goal.

The first thing we may need to know is what type of learning suits them best. Here is a free learning style inventory we as well as the chidlren can take. This will tell us whenther we are visual, verbal or kineasthetic learners. That is, whether we learn by seeing, hearing or doing things.

Freebie One

Just click on the following link and on top of the page you will find a

 Free Learning Styles Inventory

It is absolutely free. Go ahead and take it yourself and ask your children to take it. If you are a teacher and your school has a computer lab, you can take your children there and ask them to take it online.

After you take the  Personal Learning Styles Inventory you get to know what type of learner you are and you also get free Instant Learning® Newsletter full of rapid learning tips.

Freebie Two

Once we know the type of learners the students are we can learn better and we as teachers can teach better. many teachers have told me in training programmes that they are not able to help their children read better. If only they can read well their grades will improve. Why are they not able to read better? Find that out by taking

The Eye-Q Reading Inventory Absolutely Free

You just need 10 minutes with your child to take this inventory. This will understand how well your children are able to use their visual skills to read. If they are able to read better they will get better grades. After taking this you will know what problems they have in their visual or perceptional skills. By helping them specifically for these problems you can help them improve their grades in school.

Freebie Three

The next free test that you can use is the Phonic reading test. When children learn to read through the phonic method or the sound of the letters of the alphabet, they learn to read on their own. Reading well is the absolute foundation of all learning programmes. If they are able to read well they will get better grades in all other subjects. And they can of course improve their reading scores in English too.

Free: The Ultimate Phonic Reading Test

This is a test designed to check how well a person of any age reads. You can take it yourself or ask your children even a 4 year old to take it. Based on the results you will get individualized recommendations and tips.

Freebie Four

You can read this free newsletter about elearning.  This FREE Newsletter, entitled “Learning Styles – Blueprint to Your Child's Success” can be downloaded instantly and contains practical, proven strategies to help your child be more successful on their very next test.
